Hello Friends!

Happy to post up my final illustration for my concept piece. My concept is the City of "Sunder" where magic runs rampant due to the barrier between worlds being torn. I chose fantasy obviously . Huge thank you to Cubebrush for this opportunity! I learned so much and had a ton of fun along the way!

Been putting quite a bit of work into this concept. Still have some finishing touches to put on, but it's getting there!
My concept is of the city "Sunder" where the barrier between worlds has been broken and magic is breaking through. As far as level design it would be fun to have dynamic terrain events, where the environment shifts beneath the player's feet.

I really liked your previous post, the last picture was great, it had a great atmosphere I think. What I think happened now is, there is equal lighting and color everywhere, so that previous feeling is lost. The design is cool, so in my opinion you need some contrast back. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I feel like your critique is dead on, it seems I tunnel visioned while rending everything and lost some of the dark contrasting mood of the original thumbnails. I'll see if I can play around with it and bring back some of the original lighting.
