Great start! I like his armor. I would suggest getting that scene lighting down, you're going to want him to be the focal point, so a lighting maybe similar to some of Gustave Dore's work? just a suggestion, take it or leave it. But keep pushing! i like where this is going

I really like how your illustration is coming along! I do have to agree with @jfreyz about the lighting; since your champion is in a cave and has to be the focal point his suggestion about the light in the scene was quite on point. But I do expect you are working on that already

Yeah, I usually work more on the major lighting and other details near the end when most of it rendered out a bit more.
