some early sketches of the kind of character i want to do. i want to design a character with a heavy set body type that has a kind of shy but cheeky personality.

i really like the look and idea of this design. just working out certain things about about him at this stage

trying to work out some head attire that suits best.

todays mission: finalise concept and clean up.

this my concept sheet for my character. cutting it close With the final illustration, but I should be able to have it out by the end of this week.

these are some quick thumbnails for the kind of scene i want. need to get moving so these were just quick. I am thinking along the lines of the one on the bottom right.

so glad the due date got extended! this is where i am at so far. i generally start off an image in black and white, then add colour later.
