Nice work so far. I like the single leg showing in the roughs... but given how much you tried that over both legs showing, I suspect you do too! 
The thumbnails there are too small to really see much in the way of other differences but looks like you're off to a good start.
For the composition, I seem to recall a rule somewhere that you have to show most of the figure in your painting (I can't find it right now so I could be wrong?) but it might be something to keep in mind as you thumbnail layouts.
