Heyo. This is my entry in the 2018 Art War 2 challenge. Expect stuff to appear on this thread going forward, like every other participating post.

Meet Odius. Going in, I was looking to create a champion of light in order to challenge myself a bit (I'm a skulls and horns guy), but at the same time I wanted to try something dark, but not necessarily evil. As such, I want the guy's design to reflect strength and typical traits that one would associate with darkness and evil, but in a more natural way.
Odius is a massive entity that feeds on the core of celestial bodies. Solar bodies are too big and too hot for him to consume, so he eats smaller substellar planetoids that unfortunately are sometimes inhabited. Long ago, its apocalyptic feeding was probably a cause for remorse, but the passage of time incomprehensible has eroded his guilt. Advanced civilizations have had success in warding him off by launching attacks into space, which he mostly acknowledges, shrugs off and proceeds to move on.
Odius is a widely hated entity. Its bond to death and darkness is borne from happenstance and thus not a symptom of evil.
