The lace is really cool, maybe it'll be too much i don't know i like it. I think try to see if in the final image it looks good or not and then you'll know

I for one like the lace. In general I usually don't like things covering the face so we can see it clearly, but here it adds to the Venice Carnival feeling of the costume. Also, it feels like it ties in with the light theme. It makes me wonder if her flames or her ability is so intense that even she has to shield her eyes from the light.
As for hairstyles, I personally am not a big fan of the perfectly straight one. It makes her look younger - more like a girl than a woman - and the wavy ones have a lot more energy to them.
Great development so far, good luck with the rest!

Hey guys ! here's an update on the illustration !

I'm sorry i'm so quiet and slow but i really am giving all of my energy and efforts for this so it's taking me a lot of time to come up with anything !

I removed the lace on her face cause i think it was too much and as many times as i tried i couldn't find something satisfying , i prefer her face like this ! and since I detailed more the design of her collar thingie, i don't want too much details !

Hey it's been a while ! sorry again i was away and couldn't work so now i haveto rush a bit more !

I'm gonna start coloring soon i think ! I already have a few ideas about the style i wanna give, the hardest part for me is figuring out everything when i sketch tbh ! coloring is just fun after !

Here's what the final should look like !

Pretty happy of how this came out in the end !

I know my chances of winning are really thin, cause i'm just a student and really far from you guys's skills but that's not why i joined in the first place !
