I tried a scarier look and a Fenrir theme as well. I will design cooler armor pieces later

I like no. 6 most, it fits great to your character with the spiky shapes on the handle. (yeah no. 2 would work as well). You can play around with the size of the axe. Maybe it's bigger then the character or he has two of them.

i can’t wait to see this guy in the illustration He looks like he has amethyst crystals on him. I think it would be cool for the crystals to pick up reflections of his environment like in this picture

Here's the turnaround. Still experimenting with the crystal shapes though but I will update if I change anything. Finally I can think of the compositions for the final image! I hope it'll turn out good

Looking good! It'd great that you have one entire part - the turnaround - done already. That leasves you plenty of time to tackle the full illustration. I'm the opposite, I haven't even started on my turn-around yet! Looking forward to seeing the composition thumbnails!

Looking good on the turnaround! A couple of small things - I'm a little confused on what's going on with his boots (and to a lesser degree on his wristguard). I'm not sure how the boots are attached to his legs - the shoulder makes it clear that it's growing out of his skin, but on the boots especially, it looks like it's attached to the boots, not him. If he's got crystals coming out of the sides of his legs, a little thought as to how his costume'd work around it would not only make more sense, it'd make for a more interesting, creative design. Also, his skintone and clothing are all pretty samey, colour wise, a little more variation in hue and value could really make some important bits pop.

On the thumbnails, I really like number 2, though make sure to watch the tangents around the edges. =)

Thank you @kimsokol for pointing out the boots, I thought of the same thing as you did, I was going to change it but I forgot about it . And about the colors, I haven't really put much thought into it but I was planning on saturating the skin color a bit more and play around with the hues to see if I can find a good color balance

Composition feels good at the moment if not a bit right side heavy. So if you could do something to get the overall piece to feel more balanced you could probably get a really cool image. Just try to think when placing your character and composition who thins character is attacking why they are attacking them and where they are.
If your struggling with the background then that last question will really help you figure something out. But good luck man you'll make something cool if you keep at it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback I'm trying out a night scene right now where the moon is located on the left side which I think will help balance the composition out, also I can add something on the right bottom corner which points to the left
