Got the render done, so heres the final base design.
So now to draw her with her Devi powers activated. Her final design will essentially be her in all her glory (Her powers activated will be her final design)... This will be the hardest part but I am looking forward to the challenge.

So this is one design I came up with based of the references. I did a quick sketch just to solidify the over all idea. So her final design will have 8 more arms kind of like the Buddhist statues. Her powers come from a Devi which is a godly being it would only be natural for her powers to look god like.

Great development so far! Glad you picked the gold color for her. The god-like powers and multiple arms are looking great, although it's a shame if the powers cover her face as she has such a winning expression. Good luck fleshing it out more!

Thank you, you make a good point actually. Maybe I shouldn't cover her face, considering her facial expression will help represent the fact that she is a mad monk..

Some ideas for the Devi form, I am reconsidering this idea all together. I still want to keep the arms but maybe remove the Armour parts..

I like her armor : D Although, i think you should merge some aspects of your designs. I circled the parts that i think would work well in the same design.

I decided to change my idea a bit, @mdashow made me really consider the fact that I probably shouldn't cover her up with armor because that would hide all the features I wanted for this character. Plus her arms are so strong she doesn't need armor .
So here's her final Devi form design, just have to color it properly, render and get the illustration done.

Glad my suggestion was helpful! Nice, clean, simple, and the arms provide a unique and distinctive silhouette for her. And I'm glad we can see her face! I'm curious to see how you'll render the arms in the final illo: Solid or ghostlike or magical, etc. Come to think of it, I'm not even sure if this is your pose for your illustration or the front view for the character sheet. Looking forward to seeing more, either way!

Started working on the illustration, Hopefully I can get her to look Godly at the end of it all. I want really dynamic hand gestures as well as hand gestures that you expect to see on Buddhist statues.
