Hello there!
First time in this contest, good luck all!
So I started thinking of my entry yesterday; I chose DARKNESS. I started by writing a bunch of words that reminded me of darkness in my experience, and ended up on the one that inspired me the most: oblivion. Then I made a few thumbnails and wrote some more ideas, so here's the pitch: this demon was once on the light side, but forgot everything when his head was cut off by an enemy. The thing is, he then forgot his head was cut off, even though he transports it in a cage on his hip, and has the key somewhere on him, among dozens of other keys (you know how it is.)
His weapon is a club that has the power to make everyone forget about the person/creature that has been hit by it. A dozen of spiders living on his body also like to cover all his enemies (and himself) with web. He calls them his babies.
Actually, the only thing the light side could do to beat this guy would be to find the right key to open his cage, put his head back in place and tadaa, you got another soldier on your side! But I guess it's not that easy.
