I started out thinking about having the character being a "child of light" in some way, but then it didn't really sit right with me to have a child in a war lol. So instead I tried to draw a grown up version, and a couple of different poses to get the creative juices flowing.
Initially I wanted to base the design on an owl, since they're associated with wisdom etc, but then I thought that crows would be pretty fitting with the Norse theme, but it might be too dark for a light side character. So I started doing some silhouettes and thinking about what shapes I liked and it eventually morphed into this:
Which really interested me, because it seemed kinda crazy to base your design off of a rooster? But I really like it haha, so this is what I'm gonna use as my base moving forward. Gonna explore some different clothing designs etc, and work out a story and personality
