Wow, seriously great work! Those material reads are insane 0_0
This is incredible! My heartbeat getting faster when I saw this. So Impressive!
The materials, the composition... everything is SO AMAZING!! Really can't wait to see it finished! (and the gold is just...wow :D)
Finishing up the headpiece atm, still can't settle on the overall colour scheme xD I might put together a list of variations at the end and crowd source the favourite
I think it looks great the way it is, but I'm curious to see what else you have in mind!
Amen!I hope you will have to time to give us a "hazing" variation, where the golden snake straight barf because the two big snakes make it drink too much (add funny hats and party favours).Fantastic work.
AHHH how come only now I see this!!? I love this, amazing work!! She's so beautiful!! I genuinely mean it
Update before my final changes, I've got some things to add to the concept sheet and I want to try a different approach to the snakes laser so it's less distracting and out of place. Also someone pointed out that I put Sun God rather than Goddess and whilst they have a point, I feel like I don't gender the word God but I do imagine some form of secondary level God when I hear Goddess.Anyways, I doubt it really matters too much (also just for safety because I'm paranoid something bad will happen I'm going to post this as finaland edit it tomorrow)
stunning. Love how you made an ancient gold so full of life and personality.
Lovely work on both the character and all of the metal rendering. congrats on finishing!
Looks great! I like seeing how the wings look when they're opened up.
Make sure you adjust the concept sheet dimensions though. I'm pretty sure the rules said it needs to be exactly 2048 x 2048.
So impressive ! Great work
Really nice, compelling character and once more - amazing rendering!Btw your sheet needs to be 2048 x 2048! (you most likely know it, as others have told you, but your entry is too good to be tripped by something so basic)
Ra is the Goddess of sunlight, I wanted to try and capture the feeling of weightlessness, cheer and innocence. Her design is based on the Egyptian sun God, and as I was reading around the mythology I found it interesting that the snake is often used as a symbol of duality. I then had the idea to represent the forces of darkness as snake - like creatures, and to restrict her offensive ability solely to the snake of her headpiece. This captured the symbology very nicely; the only source of light in the illustration is also the most destructive force and the snakes representing darkness are the only entity the viewer can empathise with.
Needless to say, Soooo Epic!!
Awesome work! Great concept sheet and illustration! congrats for finishing
Really like the dynamic happening in this illustration!
This is definately my favorite submission. ^^ I'll be rooting for you
Awesome. All the best of luck man !
Wow your contraste is perfect !
