The Memories are eternal. Ancient. They existed before the idea of time. They are the sum of every positive act that has happened in every universe ever. Every kindness. Every soft touch. Every heroic act. It all was all woven into the essence of The Memories. The Memories remembers it all because they ARE it all. They have detected the Darkness and have traveled through the eons to this moment. The Memories knows this is the final fight and have taken a form of untold power and strength. It is here or nowhere/when. The Darkness must fall. This is their battle.

The Memories... Can you hear them?

I worked on my character some more today. I'm enjoying the process. Looking forward to designing out the back too. These are not final details.

I really do hope you won't be hurt by my comment...but I do feel your very first sketch/rough was giving a lot more feelings/impact (the angle is very good too !) than any others you have here.

The shapes look really more interesting in the first one.
But sure you have time to change and mixing things.

Hi @mr_dessin! I absolutely LOVE that you spoke your mind! THANK YOU! I totally know what you mean. The first sketch I had was really powerful and I'm glad it inspired me. I love the angle too and I'm totally going to use that in my final illustration. I'll keep your critique in mind going forward. Thanks!

I'm working on trying to figure out what colours I want to go with. I want festive, positive schemes because I feel that all good memories would be colourful and fun. It gets really weird looking when I slide that Hue slider around. lol.

Try to get some of that awesome energy you have in your first image in this post. I would also recommend simplifying your colour palette some (2-3 colours are always good). Keep it up, and keep your drawings loose!

The final illustration will have all sorts of cool energy... I promise!!! Remember, the rules want two images... A turn around control drawing and an illustration. I'm working on the first first!

I like what you've done so far and I also like the cleanliness of your line art. I agree that the simplified color pallet makes it much easier to look at and is overall more appealing. my only comment would be maybe to repeat the grey used on the legs and belt a little more on the wings, but other than that it looks great.

The colour palette is MUCH nicer. Watch out with your proportions, his legs feel very short. But definitely much better. Keep up the awesome stuff!
