Okay, I chose my character. This guy's name is Verner. Here's rough sketch version. Story for this one is coming soon.

Since I've messed up my working process, I'm uploading a colored version right after sketch c:
P. S. A story of Verner: he's an old warrior of Light who uses his own beard instead of padded armor. His loyal companion, polar phoenix called Aodhan, can notice a Dark bastard miles away. While fighting, Verner strikes foes down wis his sword and dagger while Aodhan incinerates them with flames. Nevertheless, bearded warrior is wise and talkative, and if you have a question, he will answer it applying logic and knowledge.

Nice clean design and the bird is gorgeous. Have you picked a final composition yet? The front 3/4 view is nice from a design POV but it doesn't tell a lot of a story. You could do that with the background of course. All this is just my opinion of course. Good luck and keep working!

i like this composition, with the view from below, it is more epic and emphasizes the character and the bird. I would push the third point view a bit more. Looking good so far :D, can't wait to see how it goes .

Hello! The bird design is well emphasised with this angle. On the last one the position off the sword is a bit awkward, it looks like your harfang will be skewered. I prefered your sketch where the heroe is slaying a beast, it remind me the sculpture of Saint Michael slaying the dragon, pretty epic in my opinion!
