Just wanted to share something to keep myself going, so here's a draft concept sheet.
I'm not so sure about the hooves...
At the end of the week I will explore more possibilities.

I like the hooves! They're very classic demon, but for all the dark entries this year, I haven't seen anyone else using them. And I like the fact that, while he has them, he's far from a traditional satyr silhouette. The hands feel way over the top, but I'm sure that's the point so it's hard to knock that.
Anyhow, nice work so far, very creepy face, interesting looking minions... keep it coming, and good luck!

Hello again!
I've done some sketches during past few days...
...and still don't know which one to push further :V
Treat these as overall concept/design/pose mash-up experimental sheets.

@evehartman :
I think I will go with strongly desaturated greyish-bluish colors.
Imo it would fit with wraith-like design.
Is that a good choice?

Legs or ghostly levitation?
What do you think?

I think he looks a lot more scary and powerful with legs. And his look feels far more unique than the one where he is levitating. That is of course, just my thought

Main segment of concept sheet underway.
Will get back to it after determining composition for the main illustration.
Many details to fix - for starters he looks too ripped, staff lacks bones etc.
