I begin with the scale texture and I block the armour in general pieces.
Without any concept sometimes is a little bit hard to continue but I enjoy the direct creation

Thank you @archsider, the scales were done with some alphas, masking parts, and hand modelling, a little bit of everything, I spend like 6 hours yesterday only on them and they are not finished yet (not even the ones you can see already done).
I still have to do a lot of work in all the body, legs, feets, hands, face and tail are not finished and I have to texture all of them also.

Adding details to the armour, hard work, I spend all the day off yesterday creating every single part to make a huge IMM brush with more than 20 pieces, and I will need some more for sure.
