Story:
It was a beautiful, sunny day. As the deadline of her bachelor work was getting closer, the young magician Kensley put all her efforts to achieve the best results.

Suddenly, a mass of dark clouds appeared over the home village of Kensley and brought many monstrous and evil creatures to conquer everything.

She took a deep breath and decided to halt her own studies and ran quickly to the library where she works at. She quickly grabbed a few pens and a book of magical spells, then transformed into a brave mage. In this form, Kensley is able to create magic that greatly helps soldiers in every war, such as giving them power, healing and calming them.

Kensley´s mind was now only full of urgency and righteousness. The urge to stop all those dark creatures was overwhelming....

I created a few animations for Kensley that you can easily see in this Sketchfab viewer. To make the character move lively, I also added a background music and few sound effects to this viewer.

All these elements will run best if everything is loaded fully.

[FIRST POST]

Hello everyone,
in oder to partake Art war 2, I would like to create a young magician, who fights for the Light side - Kensley.
Kensley works in a small library of magical books and knows most of the famous spells that help her to defend her village. One day, she is set to anticipate a war ( Art war 2 ) . With her bravery and confidence, Kensley now turns into a magical fighter, that arms herself just with a book and a few pens.

To improve my skill of concepting and building a character, I would like to put my best in modelling, texturing and also animating. Some of the amazing features provided by the Sketchfab´s real time 3D model viewer will greatly help me in turning this character alive.

Nice silhouettes! Personally I love 1 and 2. Something about the skirt on number 2 is really nice to me although since she seems more serious it works for her, less playful like the others. But she pretty cool

Nice work so far. I like the leg armor a lot. If I could recommend something, it would be to find some reference for the pants. The folds look a bit off. Also there might be more folds on the cape that she is wearing.

During the previous week, I could work on the low poly version of the character, and also created few extra models that enhance her silouhette and also some of her items. So that I could give the character few authentic facial animations, I decided to give her a model of her inner mouth.

Her hair in the final product will be shaped in the form of stripes, instead of the place holder hair model you have seen in the sculpt version.

In the last days I could have sometime to work on the textures of the character. Currently I am still unsure about the entire look of the character and might add few changes later.

Here I have a setup of the armature for the character. Kensley is able to do different poses and also has a respective facial rig.

I think this color set suits the character more than the red black tone i have choosen before. She looks then more rural and simple. The small sword I have shown above will not be included with the character. I will work on her librarian characteristic more, than her fighting ability.

I slightly forgot that the colorscheme of the character should be in white, since she is supposed to stand for the LIGHT side.
