Heya folks! This is my first challenge. I took the courage to enter a bit late, I know, but I expect it to be a great way to test myself and improve my skills. My career as a 3D artist is pretty young yet. I hope I get great feedback and lessons here

I'm not good at concept art so I picked up these 3 images as reference. I'll be doing a war beast, with mounted weapon on the back. The skin will me like the exoskeleton of the Tyranids (W40K) with some energy-like fissures on it. No more details as most likely the flow will be changing them, so I took the most important to be represented here.

Finally finished the submission. It's been a long road, full of surprises, new software, new workflow... I wanted to upload a marmo view but due to my lack of experience on retopo my file was 20,9Mb so I decided to submit via detail sheet.

I enjoyed this competition a lot, and learned a lot of new tricks and stuff. Wish you all the best luck!
