Thanks so much guys! Slow going so far, most armor pieces are blocked in, currently he's hollow while i work everything out design-wise. Chainmail is just some placeholder surface noise.

Lovely. But I believe the metal could be much more contrasted and varied. Such an old armor sould have very rough, almost non reflective spots with other places quite shiny; also rust, incrusted mud, color variations in the spec, etc.
