I made a couple of versions of the colors. I am still prefer the "A" that is the original one, but the maybe the "D" is more better... aaand I am thinking about the "F", because it is a bit extreme, but I like this purple style. The only problem is that is not fit into my atmosphere....what do you think?
I love the popping red in the E design! I think that works really well
Hey, thanks. I thinkalso that is good, so I am hesitating between the E and the D now, D is a bit darker for me, which is fit a bit more for the atmosphere, but the E is more living maybe.
So here is the final concept board right now, with all the stuff what she has. Tomorrow I start to sketching the final illustration.
Great design! I'd prefer F because of the mythical aura she gets through the violet color, but if you are not sure between D and E I would choose E. The red endings of the feathers in D lead my eye directly to the staff and away of the character, in E she is in focus and the staff is more of an accessoire as a weapon mostly should be^^
Nice work !For the colors I like B and E but If you go with E try a less satureted red, and I also like the purple of F so maybe you can try that one too
Hey Guys,
@EllyettWee, @rgdraw, many thanks for the advices, I will consider them in the decision. Until that I started to sketching the final illustration , this is the very first rough idea.
Actually I feel myself very slow, because I have just a small time after work in every day BUT sooner or later it`ll be done.
I have been struggling with a couple of things in the last week. The first was the lack of time of course, because I almost drowned in the work in my workplace so I had to skip some drawing evenings against my plan.
The other thing what is much more related to this work was the problem with the right pose and the figures`s position in the available place. I made a couple of changes and until now finally I started to feel that they will be right. The grey square under them just try to determinate the space and the perspective now. I hope that from now I can speed up the work with them
I understand that work or other activities can keep you away from completing your art. Keep up the good work though! You work is coming along nicely
Heyy, thanks for the kind words! I hope that from now I can speed up the process a bit, and I know that other activities shouldn`t be an excuse about our skip-nights. So try to get together myself a bit.
Nice! This is gonna look great! Keep up like that!
Heyy, thanks! I am on it! But how about you? I haven`t seen any update from you for a while. Still having computer problems?
You're welcome Don't worry it's good, the computer works fine, I just have some side work to deal with before I can go back to the contest, but very soon!
I can`t wait to see!
Sketching up the background and determining values.
Nice! What if you try to tilt the angle a bit, like you did on the composition test that would be more dynamic I think
Hmm you say something. I have tried it when I started the progress as you see the former sketches, but I it wan`t good whatever I did or tried...the figure could not stood solid in the ground. But it could work if I tilt the whole picture a bit... Thanks for the tip, I will do it when I will get home, and see what happens.
@rgdraw I`ve tried your advice and at this time it seems it worked. I tilted the agle a bit and the result is even more better what I expected. Thanks for that buddy! And besides of these I just setted up the Grayscale values.
