So I`ve started the painting.. I wanted to progress a bit more today, but that is that I could do. I started to be afraid to not finish in time, but hope dies last.

Just curious, where does the light source come from? For the moment it's a bit unclear to me (bu maybe that's just me xD )

Hey yess, that was my problem also, but yesterday I did not saw that exactly. (You now how it is when you paint a longer time one pic, and you don`t see the mistakes just fresh eyes.)

So I`ve tried to put more light and standardize the values a bit more. And in this pic you can see the main light source, but I always have some trouble with it.

I have just put together the characters with the environment and the light. The many details confused me a bit to set up the lights properly, but in the end of the day started to look good I hope. What do you think?

Just got an idea, what if the roots on the ground go in her direction, to guide the viewers look to your character? I think it would give more dynamism to your painting

Work in progress. I was just lucky today because I haven`t got any task in my workplace and I could work on this under the grass, the gods may love me and they gave me some extra time which I really needed.

great details, I'd try and emphasise her silhouette and obscure some of the rest in shadow for some value contrast

Hey! Thanks for the advice! I will try to do something like this, but a lot of details missing right now yet, what is in my head, and I think if I will do them they will do something similar than yyou said. I mean there will be snowpatches and a green fog/smoke and ghost....so we`ll see, but I will keep in my mind. Thanks. These friendly advises means a lot to me.

Another update: as @rgdraw suggested me, I changed the roots in the ground, even in a bit different way, that makes much more magical sense, when the roots curve around them during she do the magic. Still work in progress of course, but what do you think?
