Sorry man I'm so late to respond to you...It's always hard for me to be proud of something I've done now
Before I was happy for about a week...after, few days...hours...

I know we don't have to compare our work with others (especially here I mean masters are everywhere all over the Cubebrush site...and I always feel like a newbie (even if I'm not really)).
Tel me if I'm wrong but...last year was great...but this year is 10 times even more tough (and I only saw probably 1/4 of artist works (probably less))

So even when you feel your art have progress...you have the feeling to do baby steps
Still feel so good to be here haha
Always feel so sad when a contest is finished...

Don't we need a third contest in the year... no ? Everybody ?
We have Artwar focusing on characters, Worlds focusing on backgrounds....can't we have I don't know...a contest focusing on "vehicules" or something ? (just an idea like that)

But I can guess that's a lot to ask for...maybe in few years ?

Well don't worry about that either, no matter how much experienced we are, we are never satisfied with our work and skills, so that just means you're aware of your actual level, which is really cool
It's perfectly fine to compare your work, that will push you to keep improving, to always get better!!
I have no idea if it's tougher than last year of if it's just because we see things more clearly now x)

It's always baby steps, and no matter how much we improved it always feel like we don't, just take a moment and look at your old work and laugh about it, then go back stronger!

No please so more contest for the moment, I have stuff to do ! XD
With cubebrush's contests and artstation's ones I can't breath xD
But yeah maybe it can be a cool idea to have contest about something else

But we still don't really know how many art levels there is...just have the feeling each time I climb an (art) mountain there is even more (and bigger) mountains that are hidden behind.
Anyways, that's always tons of fun to discover new techniques and styles along the art road...and sometimes totally by chance ^^

To be honest I have no idea about the Artstation contests...(I just take a look on profiles sometimes because many are there here...but I don't really feel like my art fit very well...(lack of skills for sure at least).

Yeah that's the thing you never know your level, and yes everytime you arrive at the top of your mountain, there's a bigger one behind, but it's fine that's what make us stronger!
You shouldn't worry about your work fitting the top artstation artist, it's a great place and a great way to have a good looking portfolio!
And the constests are great too!

Well I'll think about it...but the thing is I don't have a lot of finished art.
Anyways I'll see one day maybe to create an account on Artstation (and take a look about contests too ^^).

And it's okay to put unfinished work too, as long as you produce stuff it's fine
