This is really cool.
Very nice color control. The blue-green areas work nicely in conjunction with the lines of the scaffolding and walkways to move the eye around the piece.

The cat change was huge, it really helped the piece as others have stated as well I think.

Beautiful work @Aem, I don't know if you've finished this piece or not however I want to say the most entrancing aspect about your work is it's ability to allow the viewer to delve deeper into your piece. there's just so much balance of color, shapes and space that it's just a joy to look at. I find myself feeling like I'm in your illustration! . . .

Tangerine beams of light illuminate the early morning as fluttering birds warble echos of a song unknown yet appreciated. I gather myself as I prepare a meager breakfast, which is .... still appreciated.... though could be better. Clambering out my shaggy hut I take in arguably a scene so unfathomable it'd might be the most beautiful thing I'd ever scene had I not cast my gaze upon it everyday... Scaling the wall agility I ..... (This is where the characters moral intention is relieved. To me he gives of the thief / outcast feeling so I'd probably be something like chaotic evil.)

Amazining work, really imaginative, and we can see your whole process, great colour too, on the finished work. You have to be a pro or at least you studied at Scott Robertsons college or you whent FZD school in Tailand or similar cos if you say you're self tought i'm gonna cry, just a little bit.
