I did learn a lot that's true.
I may try to change the horns a bit so they can work like shoulder armor but i'm not sure. I really like the character as it is xD. Will see.

So i've been busy the whole week trying to finish the backviews and movesets of my latest characters.
I think i'll finally start making a portofolio of some sort when i'm done.
For now i'll post some of them here, starting with the old man :).

Heck yea!
I love seeing characters in action, or just..be more then just an image and actually alive^^
I was thinking about also starting to give some of my characters that i made up to..kinda deepen in a sense ( like you giving them movesets and different views). Looks real guuud everything in my opinion

The original seems to have a lot more angels in the shapes as well as the rendering of the values. Your lines are a bit more curved and smoother if that makes sense. In the original some areas like the right arm have lines forming into points. I like your values a lot in the study. Another difference I notice is your work is more realistic proportion wise compared to the original piece. I should say feels more realistic. It's still stylized, but, I would say keep pushing the shape. Emphasize those angles a bit more. Still an overall good study. The contrast of values are really nice to look at and I personally like the smoother feel to yours a but more.
