Five Dodge - My Art School Journey

First two photoshop assignments, still getting used to using a tablet, so I am still working on maintaining pen control (Circles are so much easier on paper). I enjoyed playing with Hue/Saturation but the levels and curves gave me a bit of trouble, just have to train my eye to detect contrast and values better.

Image combining worksheet done today, I really wanted a warm and lush landscape to drop my castle in : ). (peep the dragon :))

Final Photoshop assignment completed, gonna start on nude figure drawing tomorrow! : )

First two assignments of nude figure drawing done today! I am finding a difficult time finding good references of poses, if anyone has a good website for that sort of thing, please let a girl know! : )

Assignment #5. The video on male-female proportions was quite confusing to me, so I had to look at other references to nail the proportions. Eventually it started to stick though!

Had a lot of fun with the gesture drawings, especially the ones that turned out kind of okay. : )

Was working on perspective studies and tried Trent Kaniuga's study of filling a page with treasure chests. Tried to incorporate a few different styles and materials.
