Four Finals

Hi all,
He's a piece I started for the foreign lands challenge some weeks ago. Two tribesmen from a distant land have travelled deep into the forest in search of a rare and valuable substance. Unfortunately for them, the forest belongs to enormous giants who would rather keep it all for themselves.

Here's a sci-fi piece I've been working on. I used modo for the block-out and base lighting. Then photoshop for the figures, which are a mix of bashing & PO.

These two images where produced for a film pitch package. Shown with permission. The story called for a girl to be murdered in a cadaver cold storage room. She then wakes up in a kind of dead-land purgatory which is the same room but nastier and full of the risen dead. After discussions with the director, we settled on all the key points - general ref, mood, room layout. I then went right in to Modo and pulled up a blocking model and passed along some thumbnails with characters blocked in. After he chose an angle, I refined the model, threw on some basic textures and rendered it. I popped off a quick photoshoot for the main characters & brought it all into photoshop to take it to final. That's about it. Hope you like it. -4
