Wanted to share a sketch i did just for fun lol would appreciate comments or advice of any kind, i have a bad habit of being lazy with my paintings due to time restraints so i don't usually render out everything for shading instead i usually stick with black and white paintings lmao

oohh this looks good! the only critique i have is the bow matches with the words in the bg so maybe make the bow a darker red? or make the words white or some other color that provides contrast with the bow's color if you like that color for the bow

some 30s gesture drawings, appreciate comments if any, should i just be drawing their action lines and trying to get their actions? Or go as far as draw their entire figure(if possible)?

Since these are gesture drawings, gesture should be the main focus. once you get that down and still have time then you can try to draw the entire figure

once you get good enough at both you'd probs naturally be able to draw the entire figure but gesture is still key in gesture drawing

Very nice! Are you suing a specific brush? looks like a gpen for the fine lines and an ink brush for the larger hair strokes.
