Hey everyone! My name is Gabriel, you can call me Gabe (or GGullz, doesn't matter)!

I'm formally starting Art School today after watching Marc's videos since early 2021 and noticing insane gains. I've been drawing off and on for the better half of my life now but I really want to take it to the next level and see what I'm able to create.

Attached are two drawings I've done, one from early January and another from late February. I'm pretty sure the difference in quality shows, and I'm really proud of where I'm at at the moment. I've not been drawing often but starting today that's going to change and I hope to start diligently focusing on art to become a concept artist.

Criticism is ALWAYS welcome! Can't grow if I can't learn from my mistakes, so please don't mince any words!

It's been a while since I've posted here since I've been relatively busy with school and whatnot but I've been trying to do just enough to progress! I've been focusing on gesture drawing and drawing bodies from memorized references. Lately I catch myself having a rough time with getting gestures down in a quick amount of time but I've managed to reduce the amount of time I take from about 5 minutes to 2 minutes each and now I'm trying to get down to 60 seconds.

Here's a comparison, in order of time progression:

On top of that, here's what my reference sketches tend to look like.

I'm not going to lie, I've not been too attentive to my own art at the moment since I'm a tad burnt out of ideas, but I'm trying to hop back in fully!

I really love this style! I can really feel the volume on your figures they all feel so huggable! For me personally when I have found myself out of ideas I've just done studies, that way I always have something to work on. Keep it up!
