Hi everybody!

Glad to see that the new forums are up, i look forward to join the challanges again.
This year i'm going to work on improving my art pretty much full time, so i hope to post here regularly.

Some sketches from the previous week:

@superlizzziie
Thanks!

Working on a mech monster dude, this is the first WIP.
Any critique? Don't mind the (lack of) rendering, i'm gonna darken the shadows and add cast shadows and such, but i would love crits on the overall design and structure.
He looks a bit to much like a xenomorph from alien i think, gonna fix that (and add some teeth of course).

Worked some more on this today, another WIP

I really really like the way you color. great work!

Your work is really creepy- in the best sort of way :smile: These look like they could easily be bosses or villains in a game or comic. I second @derkodos in that I really like the way you color~

@derkodos @pixelsnplay
Thanks a lot!

Some pencil sketches from today, the top 2 are from reference. The top left is me trying to copy a piece by Miles Johnston, i just love his pencil pieces. I don't really feel right posting studies of other artists work, but this is a sketchbook thread and not a portfolio i guess, so might as well post studies. Top right is loosely based on an Odd Nerdrum painting. Its a bit dark and taken from a slight angle, sorry about that! Gonna find a scanner for future posts.

Cool designs, and nice rendering too! Hope to see more soon!

@ESL
Yes! I thought i wrote that but i seem to have forgotten.
It's really good so far, have you taken it?

Hi, some really cool thumbnails right here! I just want to suggest You to add more empty space, cuz for now your designs look too noisy, I mean, readability. A character also needs a focal point like a full illustration, but when it's like"details, details, details" viewer don't know what is primary and what is secondary, where focal point is. :octopus:

Yeah, you're right, i've thought that too, i'll try to focus on that now, gonna make a couple of em more rendered.
