Hey all -
2019 saw way more personal work than previous years, in the form of just hopping into ZBrush and sketching out some characters. Normally, I make game characters, but this has been a great way to get out of my head to make, and focus on smaller projects I could balance with my studio work. Also, doing these smaller projects has let me create some versions of characters from my childhood - comics, He-Man, G.I. Joe...it's been fun, hope to do more in 2020!
I remember seeing these on artstation. Really liked the Storm and Nightcrawler pieces. I look forward to seeing more characters in the future. Not sure if you were a fan of Thundercats as well but it would be cool to see your take on Lion-O. After seeing He-Man, Lion-O was the first thing that came to mine. Hopefully you can keep these up for 2020.
