Some more gesture drawings both 30 second and 1 minute. This month for the challenge is to make 10 minute gesture drawings. Is that difficult to do?

This is a work in progress eye study.

I did a line art study based on this picture. According to the artist, it's Zeus. I would like a critique on this one.

Shoulder on the left should be lower compared to one on the right; I noticed that in your gestures angle between shoulders is sometimes a bit off. Also you had curve on upper teeth in blue sketch but in black they are flat; it curves under nose

This month for the challenge is to make 10 minute gesture drawings. Is that difficult to do?

It is easier with warm up ( for example a few quick gestures). And take your time to measure everything and check the angles

I'm getting the hang of 10 minute gesture drawings. Not much else this week. I focused on the gesture and the shading. Who else is doing the one year challenge?

I saw a speed paint from netrix redesigning the characters from Velma and I thought I'd draw Her version of Shaggy. tried to shade the sketch by smudging it with my fingers and It got a bit out of hand. I'll see if I can refine it.

On sitting poses legs are too short compared to rest of the body. With the ones with one leg bend legs are uneven; imagine straightening bended leg and it will appear longer than the other one. For the angles you can put your pen over the reference and then over your sketch to see if it is good or whether it should be more tilted.

I did some quick portrait studies and figure drawings from A.I. art I found on you tube and some mods from mortal kombat. Plus a portrait of agent 355. I might make another study of her.

Like the fluidity of your gesture drawing. I may suggest to try avoid drawing long dress if you are guessing too much on the leg position..

And the character study looks great so far. keep it up!

I did a traditional study of Neytirix's redesign of black Shaggy Rogers. I drew it traditionally in pencil and ink. Also some flat colors. the original image is on the top right.

This was from a April this was a April pose challenge on the cube brush forums. I made pose sketches of Aloy form Horizon Zero Dawn. I wasn't able to finish in time, But here's what I have so far.
