Nice studies! I really like your 2 point perspective farm house and the DEA Agents you drew from an alternate angle. Do you prefer to draw traditionally or digitally?
Thank you, @kalienator. I usually draw traditionally and a little digitally. I'm still learning more about drawing digitally. I'm trying to do a mix of both.
I had an idea of a dragon maid with an axe. And another rough idea of a scout. I just did a few ideas. I might refine them later. Which one do you like?
Here are some more head studies:Aira Shiratori from Dandadan, Shin and Noi without their masks from Dorohedoro, the smiling statue/ God Statue from Solo Leveling, and Tomie from Tomie. From what I can gather, I still need to work on line weight. I think I have 3 more left.
Here's the last of my face studies. Momo Ayase from Dandadan, Marshall Cuso from Common Side Effects, and Alan Wake from Alan Wake.
There's not much to post. I have gesture drawings for 30 seconds each and another one minute each.
I like the style of your gesture drawings, I find them appealing to look at. Did you look at any resources outside of the lectures for them? I found this video very useful (it is 1 hour long though):https://www.proko.com/lesson/gesture-and-anatomy-full-demo/notes
Thank you, @Nosnibor. I did look for some resources for gesture drawings from Marc, Proko, and Reiq. I have Michael's book as well, but I didn't know he had a course on Proko's website. Thank you for the Link.I did a face study combining 2 pictures I found. I saw this movie, Sisu, and wanted to draw the main character as he was on the cover. It's a pretty entertaining movie.
Here are some faces from Imagination. Here are some 5-minute gesture drawings. Some clothed, others nude. I haven't done this in a while, so I focused on the pose and anatomy. For this one, it was the poses.
Here are some more 5 Minute gesture drawings. I also drew some more faces from imagination.
One of the weekly study guides is studying 10 pictures from real photos, so I have done four face studies so far.I did some more 5-minute gesture drawings. For most of the gesture drawings, I had time to focus on the anatomy and shade them.An hour of drawings, each 5 minutes.
Here are the Last Of the face studies 5-10.
I did a mermaid sketch. It's a work in progress.
Here's a work in Progress of my 3-point perspective castle. It's looking okay so far.
I have some gesture drawings done. There isn't much today.
Here's a sketch idea I had about a fist pirate girl while sketching a pose.
ooh noice!
imo the legs are too unnaturally wide - i think the knees should be pointing forward more like this for example:
or this:
Thank you, @mitsuki-youko. Unnaturally wide, you say? It might be the angle I chose. I didn't see that. Here's the reference:
I made some more progress on the castle. It's getting there.
I found an old sketch I did of a nun holding an egg, so I wanted to sketch it again.
Ahh i see!
Yea i think your upward curves are too.. upwards..?
Maybe overlay the sketch over the reference. and see if that helps!
Upward curves? I'm not sure what you mean. Could you please explain?
That does sound useful. Thank you @mitsuki-youkoI did some gesture drawings and decided to sketch them.
