Here's my second-to-last Gesture drawings. I focused on the proportions and poses.
Last one for that week.
The next thing on the study guide was an environmental study.
"Study (copy) 3 environment drawings from professional artists/shows/games you like
(lineart only)"
I wanted to study one of the Uncharted series, and I remembered I had done something similar before. Here's the one I did over four years ago, in 2020.
I wanted to make this one with lighting in the reference. I remembered there was light reflecting off the bell, and everywhere else was dark brown.
This was the line art study. I traced over the study and the reference and sized it up.
I still tried to use Marc's line brush. I'm still getting the hang of the digital line work.
Looking at it now, I should tighten the line work and increase the line weight on the bell.
If there's something else I should look into or be reminded of, let me know.
Looking at the reference It looks like most of it was photo-bashed. I vaguely remember this scene. Drake needed to get something from a bell tower by climbing inside and outside of it.
I forget how, but the gears come loose and the bell falls and breaks through the floor. Which leads to a secret entrance. It was a fun game to play.
