Nice studies! And yea...same with me here I need to get faster at things like figuring out where what is and just those draining starting minutes of sitting in front of a blanc space often and really just overthinking^^
Also I do like the shading, but the hair does kinda translates like a sort of metal to me o.o maybe just make it..less perfect/ one piece if that makes sense? Well either way, studies on point

Thanks :), yeah its a bit tough but its getting alot easier once i feel comfortable with this gotta move on to drawing a male face and oh boy thats gonna be tough :P. and as for the hair yeah i kinda put too much difference in value so it does look more metallic XD. All and all im really getting to understand the planes of the face XD

I'm not really sure what bothers you about the face. I'm really not noticing anything that really looks out of place. I guess that her right eyebrow seems to extend closer to the nose than the left one. And I feel like her nose may be a bit small (at least for me), but I'm not sure if that could be that.

Either way I like where the drawing is going. Are you planning to polish her more or was this more like a test?

Its more of just studies for the time being. As for the portrait itself im trying to hit a balance between a more anime comic and semi realism since i got a critique from a recruiter at riot saying my stuff looks like anime or something he would find on deviantart.... so im kinda trying to find a more semi realism style even though my style is taken from KNKL who works at riot XD

Thanks for the gestures there is a website http://reference.sketchdaily.net/en/ it has hundreds of poses and you can configure what you want to see and how long

@malcom thanks man :P. how r u doing? as for the image its a little secret for now XD. the weird thing is when i draw creatures it seems more realistic approach compared to my characters i really need to work on that XD. I like the middle the most too i think its because its all pointy giving a predator look

I'm doing good. Been busy lately but now I have time to do more art. Yeah I agree with the predator look as well. Its cool. Only tip I could give is to practice how much detail you add to your creature. Your characters are simplified to a point where you get an immediate idea of whats going on(meaning you know what is what like materials an stuff) The 70/30 would possible work for you here in this case. Try to get your point across with 30% details and 70% being the big shapes. Try doing some studies of stylized creature designs. That can possible help. Best of luck bro. Look forward to more.

Oh, a secret! That's intriguing. I definitely like those mutan-raptor-things. I like the middle and right one the best. And as you mentionned, it's interesting how they have a slighly more realistic look than your usual stuff. It makes me wonder what your character would look in that style. It would be pretty cool to see I think! Anyway, keep it up!

I am trying to go a more semi realism approach since it seems going with my style isnt landing me anywhere. even though I really love the style that i have but ive been getting comments like oh its too anime, or its something i would find on deviantart. even though i dont think its a 100% anime style. anyway still gonna incorporate it in somehow and lets see how my style evolves XD

Loving the comp of this so far. Looking really cool. This is Alexstrasza right? Some anatomy stuff is a bit funky right now like the left arm but besides that its good. You can easily tell what the focal point is as well as the secondary point is as well. Keep it up. I need new wallpaper art
