Hi! I'm making an "epic" Harry on Buckbeak illustration. The idea is of making Harry as the protector of the school. This time from the coming dragon (little blot on the left)
This is so far what I made. On the background I will put some mountains behind Hogwarts. When I finish making Hogwarts I think that I will give the painting a bit of a warm lighting from the windows. And of course there's a lot of finishing up with harry and buckbeak. Thank you for your help :smile:
P.s if something has gone really wrong and it's hard to explain I don't mind paintovers :wink:

Second concetpion. This one is a defeated Harry with a ruined Hogwarts on the background. I chose the flying one, because I feel better in dynamic character-focused illustrations rather than environmental. But I like to know your opinion which one you'd like better

I personally like the second composition more but I feel you should do some more thumbnails and explore more ideas. The color and mood these give off are great and I think you can or should keep that. Placement of things is what I would like to see more exploration for.

Ps I love harry potter so I look forward to seeing more progress. :wink:
