—Sad Kitsune Assassin

Hey there! I've been developing this Kitsune special agent/assassin character off and on for the last few weeks....and got stumped on the color scheme. Here are my attempts so far. I'd love any suggestions or critique to get it moving forward again (colors or whatever else, I'll take it  )

Thanks a bunch!

Color A is my favorite but for an character that is a assassin I think the dark color scheme of D would work best. Really liking the design. Keep up the good work.

I think whichever color scheme works better depends on the universe you're imagining your character to be part of.

An assassin/agent style character is supposed to fit in after all.

For example. If you're imagining a sort of country theme, then I think the top right, with its earthy colours works better. But bottom right could work really well in, say, Ghost in the Shell's universe.

I think each colour palette works. If you're still unsure about them, how about working on the backside in the meantime?

Thanks for the feedback, @Etakse! I am planning to go for a more country/rural setting, since her story is about attempting to escape the assassin culture that raised her and blend in with "normal" early Japanese society. (She isn't very successful and ends up in the middle of a war instead ) I will probably end up going with either B or C.

Back and side views are in the works for her as well, since I'd like to model her in 3D. Thank you again for your helpful suggestion!

great designs ... I like C slightly more than B .... Waiting to see the final

I like A and D, A because it's very striking and D because the colours evoke a Japanese mythic colour scheme to me more somehow. Everyone has a slighty different perception I suppose. All of them are lovely

@creartive Thank you! The final choice will probably make you happy, then
@neen Thank you very much! A and D were my most "experimental" palettes, very interesting to try. I'll need to revisit those color combos in the future.

Did the side and back today. After receiving advice here and on other social media, I went with a slightly altered version of C. Thanks for the feedback everyone  Much appreciated!

I like B and D, and I'd also consider to pick another color for the fishnet in those color schemes.
