Hey Cubebrush, I've been away from electronics for near 4 months now and I'm just trying to get back in the swing of things. This is a piece I just started and was hoping I could get some advice. mostly I'm unsure about the head, is a pill too tongue in cheek? I am unsure of the colour of the pill, I tried white and red but the white felt too, meh, I do like the way it provides a better focal point and cools down the rest of the warm image at least a little. Open to new Ideas though. For a background I was considering just making it mostly just black with a sort of spot light focus, thoughts? Any advice, comments, and criticism is welcomed, I'm a very new artist and really appreciate your time and help.

My best advice would be to gather reference. Try finding a bottle of pills and seeing how the a red/blue pill looks in a similar bottle. It's pretty hard to come up with something believable, unless you're pushing for abstract which doesn't seem to be the case, if you don't utilize real reference.

My opinion is pretty much the same as @ESL . I would also advice you to maybe have a clearer source of lighting ( wich doesn't mean you have to paint in a sun or anything xD ) but to just give it the proper shading that a cylindrical Object would have :smile_cat:

this is what the project is currently looking like basically calling it pretty much pau because it's just supposed to be a short sketch. Any critiques are welcomed, what did I do well what did I do poorly, would love some pros and grows.
