So this is my first art post ever since I tend to keep my drawings to myself, but here I am fresh out of my comfort zone
Playing around with perspectives and well... Photoshop in general since I've never really used it (or a graphics tablet) before.
Will be looking into lessons as i work on this and hopefully grow along with it. Feel free to leave your thoughts on the matter if you're taking a peek anyways!

So it's been a while! Finally have some clothes on the lady after forever pondering on the perspective of the leg doing the kicking, I want it to appear closer then the rest of her and I feel like I'm failing misserably.

Progress have been slow and i have no valid excuses xD Had a change of heart regarding the whole "taking lessons as i go" deal and as soon as I'm done with this thing I'm starting up on Art School Term 1 from in here and really looking forward to it!

*The foot on the kicking leg looks off. Reference a Muay Thai or karate kick or have a person model it. This will also show you what each part of the body would be doing depending on the style.
*The right forearm is longer than the left forearm.
*The proportions for the torso are a little off.
*The facial expression does not match with what she is doing.
*The underwear may be a wrap of sorts depending on the time period this is based on.
*Study anatomy more and always get reference for the type of pose you are aiming for.

THANK YOU for taking your time to leave a comment, I'm surprised anyone bothered :o
And i can see the things you are pointing out pretty clear now that you've brought them to attention, I truly appreciate it.

I understand. It seems the critiques are in short supply here. It is often surprising that you do not catch something so obvious until you set a project down for a while or someone mentions it. Update again when you make any changes!
