I did a quick paint over of this piece. I hope you don't mind. First off, beautiful work. I can tell you put a ton of work and effort into this and it really shows. You did a fantastic job. This is the quick paint over I did focusing on the values.
Take all of this with a grain of salt, this was just my thought process.
The first thing I wanted to do was to seprate the character from the background. I felt like she was really hard to tell apart from the background due to the values. so I tried to increase the contrast between her and background elements.
I can feel the atmospheric perspective in the scene, I tried to enhance that by increasing the contrast of the character against the background to make her feel closer. I reduced the contrast of some of the midground elements and background elements as well.
I introduced a gradient on her making her dark at the bottom and more contrast at the top to help guide the eyes to the face. I changed her hair color to a darker color to help frame the focal point. Speaking of framing I thought your framing was super interesting so I tried to use the same value pattern on her hair as one frame, then the sword and tree as a frame inside a frame. and yeah I think thats about it.
Very lovely piece the details are fantastic and its very appealing. You did a great job here! Keep up the good work
