Greetings fellow artists! I am an aspiring concept artist and illustrator currently attending a private college in California. Most of my life was spend in the beautiful country of Thailand, so much of my work is tropical in nature.

I mostly work on fantasy and science fiction characters, but I am looking to stretch and grow drastically in environments, expressions, rendering, and oh so much more!

I will be mostly seeking critique and guidance on cubebrush, and look forward to participating in the community!

I’ve just joined the Cubebrush forum and After months of lurking on this site and listening to all the podcasts, I finally built up the courage to become my serious about my career in art(Ive always been serious, just been stirred around the wrong direction). So far I’ve really been frustrated on developing my style in digital painting and where to start. I was; and still am, extremely frustrated with the price of art school compared to the quality of the education you get online these days. My goal is to either be a visual development artist or character artist while freelancing on the side.

I'm a somewhat self taught hobby artist, I was always a little better than everyone else in High School art which is where my classes pretty much stopped. I never really drew a lot until this last year where I started taking my art more seriously and now I'm moving up to the next level in my mind. Though I'm still just a humble hobby artist who wishes he could do art full time.

I don't post many places but I have focused more on building up a following on Facebook. I plan to try my hand more on YouTube this year, and build my own personal page as well.

I'm Strubey and I'm a 21 year old guy from Sweden. I'm currently studying VFX at university to become a 3D Generalist. I also spend a lot of my free time just trying to become a better artist in both 3D and 2D.

I was never an artist to begin with, I used to be more into filmmaking and photography but I always felt limited by the medium in a way so I wanted to get into more of the art and VFX side to actually create new things from scratch. So I have a lot of catching up to do!

When I started to get interested in VFX I self produced mini music videos and basically did everything myself, from pre-production to filming and the VFX which was a lot of fun but extremely time consuming and exhausting. So it kind of feels nice to take a step back to improve my art fundementals a bit haha.

Thanks, glad you like my work, I would really like post a bit more frequently but with university its tricky to keep up with social media. I would really recommend doing an art related course if you have the opportunity because it helps to develop your work plus you will doing art/drawing/painting etc. more frequently which is fun and good practice. Hi I'm JMan_ForNex and I'm here to grow fundamentally to push all of my work, both realistic and imaginary, to newer heights.
