Hello, I'm Boston Rose and its a pleasure to be here!
I am a self-taught artist, writer, and I love to create. I am also a nutrition student with AFPA Health, Fitness, & Nutrition and study as clinical herbalist under a veterinarian and naturopath named Dr. Jones.
A year ago, I was enrolled as an art student at a university in Idaho. I was an illustration Major and was excited to improve my art. I was quickly discouraged by the material and all the extra non-art related curriculum. Most of my beginning art classes were online and the work load was impossible and exhausting and I began hating art because of it. I soon realized that I didn't want too spend the rest of my life paying off school and living creatively depressed. So I dropped out and pursued my other passion, health and nutrition.
However, it has been my dream since I was young to illustrate and publish a graphic novel that I have been coming up with since I was 15. I have always loved to draw and have recently acquired the tools to do digital art, but I have a long way to improve in that area. So I am excited to dive into this school and learn the skills that I need to really live my dream.
I am excited to be apart of this community!
I'd like to share an illustration mine. He's a beloved OC of mine. I hope that eventually I can post a new and improved version once I grow through the completion of this course.
