@Wingz To get your work reviewed you'll have to join the ArtSchool facebook group. If you have purchased the Artschool program with feedback you should have instructions on how to proceed to join. Then once a week Marc will make a post in the facebook group and students leave a reply with the work they to have want feedback on.

hi everybody,
I go by the name of mancina (which means left handed in Italian) and write from Switzerland. I am a senior comms professional with the secret dream of drawing my own comic one day. I am a beginner but just wanting to spend my free time from work improving my fundamentals. I have purchased term 1 to try and will for sure consider buying the program if I like it.

for now i purchased the basic license training kit( it has term 1 to 10 in it), wanted to make sure this is really what i wanted to do...lol happy so far ,so i take it that this basic training kit doesn't have feedback in.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think it does unfortunately. To get the direct live feedback from Marc you'd need to get the "Art School + feedback" package. However, from my own experience, watching the past reviews on youtube is still definitely helpful as things you'll have problems with will likely get mentionned at some point. So the feedback Marc gives can still apply to what you are doing.

And if you haven't already, I would recommend you check the ArtSchool forum section where you can make a topic and post your work for feedback and critique from other students.

Hi, I am Alex and started ART SCHOOL in January.

Drawing / painting was part of my life since I was a kid. I remember drawing every day. As a teenager I loved the art classes at school and was drawing regularly at that time. Then becoming an adult there was marriage, university (unfortunately nothing art related), kids – in short the “real life” that kept me occupied. So I was not drawing for more than a decade.

Someday I would like to been able to draw own characters and worlds. I love playing games and always thought of "I want to be able to draw that kind of stuff, too" when I looked concept art / illustrations from e.g. Devil May Cry 4 or the Fable games.

Hello, I'm Zack and I'm new! I just joined Art School a couple days ago. I've been teaching myself to draw for over two years now, but I hit a plateau in my abilities. I followed Marc on youtube for a while and his videos helped me a lot, so this was the logical next step. I've been going it alone with art for a long time now, so I'm a bit nervous about joining a community. Still, I'm looking forward to it a lot!

Heyo. I'm Jack, I'm brand new to art itself, I used to doodle a bit and get lost in my own worlds at school but I never took it any further thinking I couldn't do anything with it. Now that I'm out of work I decided I needed a hobby and I chose art. I followed a bunch of Marc's tutorials on youtube, alongside a few other creators. But I found he was the best at helping me, so. That's it, looking forward to it! ^_^

I started down the self taught path for art in October last year having hardly touched a pencil since I was a kid (I'm 31 now). The sheer amount to learn has been daunting but there are so many great resources online nowadays that it has been really easy to work through things on my own for the last few months.

But now I want to follow a more structured programme set out by a professional who actually knows what they're doing; so I signed up to Marc's Art School. I'll be starting it as soon as I've finished the current book I'm working through.

Looking forward to sharing my progress and hopefully getting some feedback from the forum as I go along.

I've wanted to learn how to draw since I was a teenager, but never had the drive to commit to a schedule. I recently got Marcs Art School and I want to finally dedicate myself to learning. I don't have any prior work to share, but I want to start working through the curriculum when the spring semester finishes at college. Glad to meet you all!

Also a side question. I noticed there are two sections on the forums for an art blog, as well as sharing progress in art school. Is it fine to make a topic in both sections? Just to make sure I'm not posting things in two spots unnecessarily.

Not good at intros, but where there is a will there is a way or so I heard.

Name's CKCKrafts, Krafts for short. I am a French female living in the USA that is now looking to get her art from bleh to a pro level since I have panel scripts for an Amerimanga/webcomic and many thumbnails of illustrations and characters that I never dared attempted to finish due to my lack of foundations and other factors.
I mostly doodled and kept artworks to myself as a hobby.

Obviously, I have a lot of challenges and work ahead of me but I am looking forward to it and I am loving the learning process so far.

Hello @nezzynaz and welcome to Cubebrush! You can do it either way. To get feedback on your Artschool assigment you definitely want to post in the Artschool section. The art blog is more for you personnal work, but I've seen plenty of Artschool students also post those in their Artschool topics too. It depends if you want to keep your studies and personnal work separated or not.

Hello everyone

I'm Barry, living just south of Amsterdam in The Netherlands.
As far as I can remember (some 40 summers ago) I have been drawing. George Lucas firmly burned sci-fi and fantasy worlds into my brain and I have been day dreaming of unknown worlds beyond the Oort Cloud ever since. I'm very much an 80's kid and grew up on all the things of that time (Star Wars, ET, Neverending Story, TRON, Bladerunner, Dark Crystal, Battlestar Galactica, BraveStarr, Transformers, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, He-man, Ninja Turtles, Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Magnum PI, Airwolf, A-Team, and so many more great shows and movies).

Influenced by allll these series, I've always wanted to write and/or draw a sci-fi/action novel of some kind and last years picked up drawing again after a long pixel-art and work related hiatus. I guess Inktober '17 was really the incentive to start again.
