I shoot them with my Canon 1000D, the 18-55 kit lens and most of the time i shoot in medium size jpgs to save space on my card, so pretty much the most low end of DSLR setup you can get ^^. And i use ReMake for the photogrammetry, Its not the best program for it, you dont have much control over the process and its kinda unstable for me atleast, but its cloud based ,great for my crappy PC. Have tied and had some problems sloveing the models locally in other programs. Think most of the programs recommend 16gb ram, but need to test out some more stuff.
But its a really fun workflow and it gets my out of the apartment while still doing something productive ^^.
