Hello,

My name is Jahziel and I've been working in the animation industry as an asset builder for Adobe Flash and Toonboom Harmony about 8 years. I've always had a passion for drawing and art, and attended animation school as well but I wanted to take this course to improve my drawing skill further. I feel as though my skills have plateaued and the only way to move forward is to continue learning. I hope these classes can help me improve and can give me a better grasp of the fundamentals like anatomy. Nice to meet you!

welcome! nice to see a fellow animator on here! (well im kind of a animation hobbyist so idk if im a "real animator" considering ive only done animations that are less than a minute but i do plan to make 6 roughly 3 minute trailers for my comic that i'm currently plotting when i get to the point where the plotbuilding is pretty much done. its a rly big story lol)

hi mitsuki! Thank you! you sound like a real animator to me :D. I work in animation but I actually do little to no animation haha, i just help make assets like the characters and props! your story sounds big! i bet the trailers you have planned for it will look awesome :smiley:

Some more term one assignments I finally got around to do! Proportion practice and some gesture drawings. I feel like I ought to practice these a bit more for sure.

Practiced doing the full figure with the tools I've learned. It was kinda challenging, especially when drawing the guy! But it was certainly good practice.
