Did the assignment where you draw clothes on a subject and I had a lot of fun! But folds on clothes is one of my weaknesses so feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I think these look pretty convincing. Probably something off about the material/light rendering making it look a little obvious that it’s painted on - but that’s not to say the folds aren’t looking good 👍🏼

I’m not 100% sure about the left leg folds, seeing how loose it is and that her leg is relaxed I am not sure you’d get so much tension from crotch to knee and maybe get more gravity folds XD folds are weird!

Funny enough, I check loomis to see what he says on his book and it’s like “draw what you see, not what you know XD” so much for help

The fold placements and angles look very good - one thing that would improve them is deeper shadows. I'd probably try to match the brightness of the shadows on the clothes to those on the figure.

Thank you! That's true about the rendering, and I can see what you mean about the crotch to knee fold!

Haha, I was using reference for some of these and it was a bit tough following the reference when it wasn't exactly the pose x_x. But Marc said that quote in his video as well. I just gotta keep practicing!

Fixed the torso of a couple of my old drawings and one of my husband's drawings for one of the assignments.

Any pointers are welcome, and feel free to do fixes of your own on these drawings! The assignment called for using other people's art but I just used my own LOL.
