For those interested in my previous work, you can have a luke here: http://jamethee.tumblr.com/
Portrait painted mostly from imagination. Trying to apply what I've learnt from doing studies. I find that you always have to be looking for a specific thing to focus on instead of being a copy machine. Say if you wanted to practice rendering, the drawing doesnt have to be accurate, and you don't have to make it look finished. As long as you achieved the look you were after then that is enough. But that is only what I find that works for me. I'm interested in hearing how you guys approach your work.
This one is a study after Costa Dvorezky. I just love his brushwork.
@brianhermelijn @superlizzziie @taydemcdonald Thanks everyone!
So here's 2 pieces for inktober and a fanart of Tidehunter from Dota 2. I went straight ink without a sketch. Probably should do that next time so things don't look wonky.
@Tutuja Thank you very much! Yeah I used the smudge and mixer brush tools.

Some stuff from the past few days. Trying to design some assets(?) for my fantasy IP. A chance to explore shape language and try to keep it consistent. These are some chests for a noble elf race and dwarves.
I also try to draw from imagination everyday and apply what I've observed or studied. Trying to solidify my understanding of things and be able to feel them out. Drawing in pen also helps to be more confident. I try to find things that are off with these drawings and then go to study the things that need work.
@shellz-art Thanks!
