Hey guys I've been on the Cubebrush-Forums for a while now and I love the new Website it is so much more appealing. I hope that some people will be interested in my art because I will be trying to post my progress and that everyone on here helps me progress because I want to do something with my art in the future professionally.
So thanks for checking my art and my profile!
I'm 16 at the time and in school and I want to use the rest of my school time to improve on my art as I want to work for the videogame industry.

My latest Image. Finally I decided to create an OC. I wanted to give her an unique character and I think that I'll have a lot of fun illustrating her in the future.

This is your first OC? This is an awesome character! Really well done. The legs seem a little long though imo.

Welcome to CB I believe you'll grow a tons on here.
Now for your OC. I like it. Besides rendering, The anatomy is what I noticed first. She has really long legs which can be a creative choice but I think you can can still shorten them a bit. Other changes I'd make is thickness of the neck. I think you can make it Smaller. The connection of the traps and shoulders need some work. I did a quick Paint over(hopefully you don't mind) to show what changes I'm talking about ans some others.

I know hands are hard so try referencing your own hands when you draw/paint them. I added more color to her because she seems a bit dead in her skin tone and I up the saturation a bit because thing looked to be on the gray side. The PO is not perfect but I hope it gives you a step in the right direction. Make sure your always using reference and keep up the good work.

So I've been working more traditionally lately with ink, pencils and coloured pencils which was a ton of fun.
I came up with this today, please consider that it is a WIP and far from finished but I think I am able to improve what I did badly in the image before.
Tips are always appreciated ^-^

Nice! You have an interesting style already, i'd like to see you develop it.
On the issue of anatomical correctness, this character has very long legs. Or rather, she has long thighs, and a very short torso. The issue is in the proportion between the two. Her legs would be starting closer to where the rim of her skirt is:

Long legs might be what you're going for, but it's good to know the realistic proportions, if you're having problems with that. Hopefully i could help!

@ragamuffin ty very much! The thing is that I stylize a lot and that I make the torso shorter because I like it. I can draw a realistic proportioned person, and I should do more, but it bores me xD
What I'm actually trying to improve is rendering and color when painting digitally. I'll try to put up some of my traditonal drawings so that people can see me do something else.

So the inked image was my first try with ink and I am really happy on how it turned out. The pencil drawing is a drawing of my boyfriend from a foto reference. Enjoy! ^-^

You have such a nice and lovely style. I really like the way you draw your characters. I especially love the inked lady two posts up (the one with the drawing of your boyfriend) She nicely done.

@cedricgo thanks I never thought that I have any “style“ really, or at least that it is somehow special. I also liked trying out inking and she did turn out nicer than I would have thought ^-^

I think you definitely do have a style!
I'm a believer that style is something that develops naturally when you draw what you like, even when you're not making conscious choices about it. I mean, everyone has a sense of what looks good to them. The more you just practice, the more it shows!

@ragamuffin yes I do get inspired a lot by my favorite artists and also tried adjusting things the way I like them
