Also every Saturday there is an art review by Marc. So if you have a piece you want him to look at, make sure to post it before the stream starts.

I have worked a lot on gesture drawings. I have completed the cylinders / 'boxes' ( the skeletons ), and will show them here. I feel I am becoming much better at seeing the human form and capturing it in general. I will now focus on the figure drawing assignment, as well as the proportions. I'm not sure if self-promotion is allowed on here, but I have also created an actual YouTube channel for my art. I feel like giving my art process to other artists and inspiring them to keep creating in these tough times ( For anyone interested, this is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCesps3wEqTTOtawnTRpayxg?view_as=subscriber ).

I wanted to share my gesture drawings today. I am definitely getting better ( and faster ), but I feel I still need to properly look at the forms themselves. Any advice / critique would be much appreciated

So, here is my first attempt at drawing the full figure. I feel there is a lot to learn still. I'd like to learn enough to be able to draw the human body accurately. Perhaps I just need some more patience and time. If anyone has got some suggestions, I would much appreciate the help. Now, the last part of the nude figure drawing is the proportions. I'll be on to perspective next.

I have started to learn about human proportions. I feel like I have at least a bit of a good grasp on this, though feedback is spprectiated. I want to learn to do this quite well.

I just wanted to do a quick post here to provide an update as to my gesture drawings. I have been improving quite a bit ( for my pace at least ), and am starting to love the art process now. I'm slowly gaining more confidence through endless practice!

I got some brand new references for the gesture drawings, since the references I was using were getting stale. It also let me quickly learn and adjust to new gestures / angles which weren't in the old references.

I have also begun the assignments for digital production ( photoshop ).

I am working through the lecture on perspective and will begin practicing and learning as I go.

Been through a lot since the last post..I'll post more in a bit

Alright...it's been a while. I simply couldn't figure out how to do the last one for the 'image adjustments' task, so I decided to just post what I have now and move on. At this point, all I have left is the perspective assignment of the room, and then I'll shortly be onto Term 2 ( which is quite exciting! )

For this one, I went for the castle ( and ALL images were my own! - I didn't want to search the internet for hours and hours looking for good photos )

1 month later

..Well. Okay, this year has been quite hard to get through. Again, I had to go through a lot to get to this point. I just wanted to quickly do the perspective assignment so I could get it done and get back into my groove with TERM 2

Alright. I have gone through one of the classes, I'll try to do the rest by the end of the month. Here is a quick update on my progress with the gesture drawings

Hello joe, u have a good grasp of "overall" gesture, i'm sure u will improve if u trace confident line on top of ur itchy lines . u will find patterns and how some curves well placed will definied the gesture and it will make sens with anatomy. After identified thoses lines u will start to replace ur itchy by those confident line u have grasped who definied the gesture. Keep it up :+1:
