Here is my design sheet for the character design I was working on. This is a cowboy / western inspired enemy floating above ground, with the ability to have its arm rotate 360 degrees to shoot the player from all angles

"I could be working for 24 hours a day and think I never did enough" - I'm stating to feel this now. Made some quick sketches combining assault rifles and octopi. The octopus would be integrated within the gun design in various ways.

I will have a short session for these daily, there isn't much growth to be had here unless I can focus on continuing to observe and patiently simplify the forms as much as I can. No need to draw 5 lines when I can draw one
I may can look into regular figure drawing and clothed figure drawing next to learn clothing folds and keep the challenge up, slowing down to observe figures and draw them as best I can. If these gestures are push-ups, I guess the rendered figure drawing would be the workout.

Metal is super hard haha I think having 30 minute warm-ups before a longer 1 hour ( or more ) study session is the way to go. I can patiently observe and try my best at rendering.

[ Journey PS5 | Art Study Collection | Introduction ]

I have done an art study collection from this game before, and I am doing it again. I aim to finish this up in the next few months as a long-term project, ending it off with a video to explain my creative process as long timelapse. This should be quite fun
