I will simply keep going on my own journey. With this forum, I'm here to simply learn my craft and hone my skills, currently focusing on the fundamentals ( which can at times seem uninteresting, but mastering knowledge of it will set the foundation I need ). Wow, it's been 2 years of Art School ( since I made my first gesture drawings )! I began in July 2020, though my first actual time posting was in August 2020. So, I went ahead and found those gesture drawings so I can show a comparison of then and now and show how far ( or how little, in my eyes -- but I guess that's just me focusing more on how much more there is to go ) I've come:

Here are my initial anatomy 3 assignments ( for the arms and hand ). I probably got the muscles wrong for the arms, and some feedback on that would be appreciated.

[ Quick 1-Min Destiny gestures ]

[ Quick 30-Sec. gestures, where I wanted to focus on capturing the overall movement and energy of each reference pose. I'm learning to properly simplify the large forms and action lines with each consecutive pose I draw ]

[ 1-Min gestures, focusing on attempting to do the same from the 30-Sec. gestures, but additionally capturing the muscle groups as well ]

[ And now, the full-on Anatomy 3 assignment with the entire body. I wanted to create some action poses to provide some energy. Having done these, it would seem my weak points with the anatomy are the arms and legs ]

[ I ended this session today with a drawing of Miles Morales, based off of the pose in the bottom-left corner above. This was a lot of fun! ]
