I always do the ribcage first now. It is much easier to make the head right when it is there xD

One point perspective exercise. I tried adding more details to make it more interesting, but ran out of idea at some point

The actual drawing looks better. Any advice on how to take pictures of large drawings?

Some figure drawings I am fairly happy with. I think landmarks are accurate and linework is good considering I spent about 15 minutes on each piece. Seeing it on a screen makes me realize I should maybe work more on contraste and final details (who said hands??)

I tried many times doing this kind of exercicises on my tablet (Kamvas 16), but I struggle A LOT with the linework. I keep wondering if there is some kind of offset between the pen and the tablet. I can't reproduce the line I make with a pencil, it is quite frustrating. Any advice on that would be more than welcome.

This AI checkbox is telling me I have not posted anyhting in 892 days... but I have been working on my skills (kind of)... I will be mastering a Dungeons and Kitties game (French tabletop RPG) for my daughters, and found some time to paint some kind of necromancer.

At first, it was just a doodle with my eldest, but the drawing (loosely inspired by Elisabeth Borne) turned out OK. I decided to scan it and polish it as much as I can using everything I learnt. I realised midway that improvising the background once the Kitty was done was not the best idea, but I felt fairly confident throughout the process. Coming from traditionnal, I feel like I took advantage of CSP tools (glow and foliage brushes) without overdoing it. Composition is a bit wanky, but more planning should do the trick next time. I am happy with the storytelling aspect of things though.

Feedback is welcome.

Welcome back! That's such a fun character, I love them!
Feedback: As you might be aware, you've got three separate works here and there's not a lot of interaction between them. The foreground is nicely tied to the light source of the spirits, but the lighting on the character is not consistent with that. On its own, the character is well rendered according to it's light source. The background could be a bit darker on the edges to make those glows really pop by increasing the contrast.

I hope you have fun running the TTRPG! I run a game for my extended family and it's always a fun time.
